Haloid Solutions is dedicated to providing public safety organizations and government agencies with the lowest prices of emergency vehicles. Haloid is entering the ambulance market by partnering with cost-driven manufacturers that share its values of integrity, price transparency, and safety. As with other business lines, Haloid will provide industry-leading and certified products at the lowest possible prices.
Haloid's Ambulance offering addresses seven key concerns public safety organizations face when buying new equipment, including:
- Lack of "Brand New" Options – Haloid offers the industry's only "brand new" Type I and Type III ambulance options below $150,000. Customers can opt for a new truck (Type I) or van (Type III) chassis that utilizes their existing ambulance box. And while the box is fully refurbished, the vehicle chassis is brand new.
- Excessive Wait Times – In a crisis, dependable equipment is key. Sadly, the current wait time for delivery of a new ambulance can exceed two years, forcing emergency agencies to use subpar equipment in their daily life-saving efforts while waiting for a new ambulance. But Haloid customers take delivery of their ambulances in just three to six months.
-
Record-High Costs – Haloid's approach to manufacturing reduces expenses by eliminating the substantial and often unnecessary expense of building a new "box". By refurbishing a customer's existing ambulance box and mounting it on a brand-new, in-warranty Chevrolet, RAM, or Ford E- or F-Series chassis, safety organizations can purchase the most current technology and amenities at a lesser cost. Existing ambulance boxes can also be customized and upgraded to meet an agency's specific needs when the box undergoes a complete remanufacture during the remount process. Plus, graphics and decals can be installed before or after delivery – even at the customer's location.
According to Haloid Solutions' Director John Pershing, "New ambulances are increasingly expensive, and many ambulance owners are unknowingly overpaying for equipment." While Congress investigates the cause of 70% prices increases that resulted since 2020, brand new ambulances, depending on the type of equipment included, "cost upwards of $350,000. Haloid ambulances start at only $149,000." - Vehicle Downtime While Waiting for a Refurbishment – When a safety organization sends an ambulance out for refurbishing, it is often left with insufficient equipment to meet its daily demands. Not so at Haloid. "If clients provide their own ambulance boxes, they qualify for a rental ambulance during the remounting process."
- Concerns About Uncertified Equipment – To ensure Haloid vehicles meet safety guidelines, the company partnered with a Midwest-based ambulance manufacturer with the coveted "Star of Life" certification. This means that Haloid ambulances meet all applicable standards according to the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (NHTSA).
- Failure to Meet Sustainability Objectives – Building anything from scratch utilizes a myriad of materials, from aluminum and steel to plastic and more. By remounting an existing ambulance box onto a new chassis, Haloid reduces the number of raw materials required while also eliminating waste when a vehicle has reached its usable lifespan. By reusing the box, companies lower their carbon footprint while also saving money.
- Lack of Trade-in Options – Disposing of end-of-life and surplus ambulances plagues many providers as monetary values, if any, are often inconsistent and volatile. Haloid solves this problem by providing an upfront trade-in price with a time-lock guarantee. It also offers a consignment option to sell old vehicles for a small transaction fee.
About Haloid Solutions' Automotive and Vehicle Products
Haloid Solutions' automotive and vehicle product offerings are still in their infancy. Public safety customers can anticipate more products and services in addition to its Ambulance Remount Program over the coming months. Rental police vehicles are already available and can be seen in a recent Fox News article in New York. Many more vehicle options will be released soon.
