This Saber key loader is one of the most unique items that we’ve encountered in the past decade. Vintage enthusiasts should take note as this an opportunity to own something that was truly cutting edge when it hit the market.

Intended to support Motorola’s Saber radios, the T3014 was manufactured in the late 1980s/early 1990s to provide encryption key loading. Back then, the radio industry looked very different than today, digital barely existed.

Today, the new “KVL-series” key loaders from Motorola are different but similar in their operations to the T3014. They are stand-alone devices, attached via a cable, and have large keyboards. Of course though, the encryption standards have completely changed.

They've sat in the box for over 30 years - and came from a large NYC-area police department. We are very fortunate to offer this super rate collectors item that earned a spot in history.
